			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;m slowly building a bad habit of vauxhalls here but....I am in the middle of building the HSR race car and the opel coupe is all but gone and in bits
hence I needed a car that was cheap, semi reliable and I could take the kids in...i ride a bike to work mostly so it didn&#39;t need to be ultra
reliable.....but I found this and grabbed it....$400 NZD!!!!

			<description><![CDATA[ After buying myself a new Mig Welder yesterday and plenty of sheet steel, I thought I&#39;d attack the red chevette in a search for rust . . .I cleaned the car
the day before and changed the wheels so it at least looks half decent. Did I find the rust I was looking for . . . oh yeah . . in a big way, some very
ingenious sheets of aluminium, subtley fibre glassed in and then filled . . .very well done but also very weak. I almost considered binning the car and using
the panels for the estate,... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ thought it was about time for an update. just put the engine back in this weekend (fired up first time, miracle!) and just need to to some odd jobs and run it
in before the season starts again. now has 700lbs front spings, 350lbs rear springs, bilstiens all round, gripper lsd, volvo brake conversion, minilites with
toyo r888&#39;s and a few other bits that i keep forgetting. and of course the grp 4 kit, almost missed that one out. so hopefully it should be pretty
competitive on the hillclimbs... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Finally after 14 months and a small fortune on restoration, MVA passed the MOT today !

And no advisory items either!  Still some other work though - front brake pad sticking when hot (they tested the brakes cold!), excessive pinking, whining
axle, and the interior to be fitted (I threw a driver seat in just for the test).

At least I can properly drive it now to shake it down properly as most of the problems didn&#39;t show when static.
