<p>Has anyone had any problems with the fuel pump on an HS just stopping working.You used to hear it clicking from the rear of the car but now you can&#39;t
hear the clicking,all the wiring seems to be okay.An older gentleman said that he used to have an MG that worked on the same principal and it the points in the

perhaps? I am also rebuilding the engine as it is seized solid where can I obtain the torque settings for the head, big ends etc. Is the bottom end as 2300vx,

<p>hello all. I have a chevette back in NZ with 2.3. I got rid of the AC delco dissy and machined up a adapter plate to fit D25 style from mini etc- the reason
being that I don&#39;t like the positioning of the weights on the AC one-any slop in the bushing and they chuck the rotor out( to the point that I have seen

<p>Does anyone know where to get a stepped cylinder head gasket for the 2.3/2.5/2.6 engine with a recessed block. Or does anyone know of an alternative; i.e.
using a standard gasket with copper rings? I have discussed this with someone who rallies an HSR abroad and he says it works well.</p>

<p>I am going to look at a Chevette HS shortly with a view to purchase. Apart from turrets/slam panel are there any identifying marks ie vin numbers or
anything to confirm authentic &amp; not a 1256 re-shell. Fairly inexperienced on the snoot scene.</p>

the bearing at front of torque tube. The bearing is there and the pressed on rubber supports are there.</p>
