Another good turnout at Chester yesterday - three HPFs (Mark, Barry and myself), along with Jerry's HB Viva making the usual cars. We also had a very smart metallic blue Magnum coupe, a Sportshatch we haven't seen for a few years, and a Viva GT. Seven cars, and glorious sunny weather for the whole day.

Any meets or rallys scheduled for west scotland? I reckon one should be organised - get hold of me on (deleted), I'd be interested in helping if anyone has any ideas.

Great weather at Tatton Park over last weekend. The DSG stand was a joint effort with the Viva Owners Club and the VX4/90 club all merging into one plot.

Saturday had three DSG cars there - my HPF, Mark Arratoon's HPF and Jerry's HB Viva along with regulars from the VOC includng a very smart red Magnum coupe. The Opel Manta Owners Club have contacted a number of clubs to invite them to the Northwest Vauxhall Open Day, which will be held at the Vauxhall Sports and Social Club, which is on the Ellesmere Port Vauxhall factory site. well my HPF isn't on the road yet, hopefully sometime in the spring i'll have her running - but are there any regional meets in the east anglia area? or any around oxford way?

hi Guys and girls as an active member of the club i am going t try and organise a pub night for the area mentioned above. If anyone is intrested please e-mail me and then I can decide on a central venue. I feel that we need to encourage these events and put our area back on the DSG map. Also dont forget to let me know about your cars as so that i can update the register for the club .
