The snoot angle on the Magard noses was steeper than the pukka items, and the headlamp windows were narrower and deeper, presumably to take standard round headlamps.

The 'glass was also a lot thinner, unlike the 'armour plated' mouldings that graced the production Snoots and Hatches. Having said that quite a few modified cars in the club used the Magard snoot as a basis and went tfrom there. I believe that Spike's almost infamous 6 headlamp 'Yellow Car' started off as a Magard nosed car. I recall the car's just re-surfaced, so could the present owner confirm that?
