Some people who have bits and are not aware of this scam may start to get excited seeing the high prices for these!

Expect an influx of HS spares to make there way onto eBay in the next week or two!

A similar occurrence happened with a Land Rover I sold last year. A couple of weeks after I exported it to Austria the exact clone of my advert turned up on a Scottish based account using my wording and my photos.

The only difference was my vehicle sold for £12k, this new advert was 'Buy it now' @ £4.5k. A chap from Norwich clicked away and bought it. He sent a bank transfer to a London based account including shipping.
After 2 days not hearing anything he contacted the local constabulary who immediately contacted me.

Worse part was that the banks can refuse to give the police any account information under certain rights. I never did hear what the outcome was.

Where there's money, there's always a scam. If you have even the slightest inkling that there isn't something right about a deal, you are most likely to be thinking correctly!

All the best, Mike.
