Gumtree at the moment is rife with this, I contacted a seller about a 125bhp Transit recovery at £2250 (which is half of whats it worth) I get a photobucket link with more photos and advise if I want it he'll list on ebay as a Buy It now and have it delivered . . . with the signature of Simon Rae from DLAPiper in Edinburgh, I emailed back as he ignored my questions and was coming across as evasive, searched the net, found the email for the real Simon Rae (very close email address) and advised his details were being used to try and legitimise a scam, he repied and said the police are already on it as there has been boats, trailers, trucks and vans all listed recently and the contact detail is purporting to be him. He incidentally is a top barrister . . . . .

The bottom line is if it looks too good to be true it usually is . . .
