Interesting that the seven-dial dash module has the clock and rev-counter reversed in the LHD model - I wonder if the others are the same. I can't remember whether that's an easy swap or not. But I don't think that's a HPF rev counter Dave - I am sure (though I haven't checked recently) that on HPF the rest position is around 2 o'clock on the dial, and the finger moves clockwise so the red line is visible inside the smaller wheel of the snoot. To achieve that in the left-hand position they've used a standard rev-counter. I must check mine later, though I'm sure someone will correct me.

I guess the only way we can know if it's an original snoot is if we can find the magic 'R' in the chassis number. It certainly looks very convincing. Having said that, though, there's probably so much difference to fit the V8 that it's not relevant any more.

That bonnet makes quite a difference to the whole look of the car, disguising the Viva HC origin quite effectively with the different air intakes.
