Ok Guys arrived in Wagga wagga 19hrs after leaving Brisbane all the way down the Newell Highway for a total of 1376 klms or 886mls, ok it used a total of 182 lts of fuel which was made at a speed of 98klms per hour or 61mph because that was 2700 rpm in 5th, I took it uo to the 110 maximum and at one stage 6100rpm in 5th just to stop the labour of the engine and some times as slow as 30 kph and through the gears up to the legal limit. The engine and tranny didnt miss a beat the brakes were brilliant the tyres were good and sticky and very gripping .coolant was fine the needle didnt get above N.
I met a total od about 150 cars and trucks on the road comming down its scarey when your on the road on your own for hours on end till you get into a town
the only thing to go wrong was an alternater bracket come loose which caused the vibration to cook the regulator, so the last few hours were with heater on and headlihts on full the high intese fogs on the heated rear window to keep the needle in the halfway of the guage it cost a grand total of 65 dollars to fix .
ok we leave at 0400 am in the morning photos to come didnt make it to bathurst though maybe another time like tomorrow have to see though .
engine is now running better and very smooth its very responsive and quick to rev I am so happy with the engine running its great in fact the whole car is now very stable and a lot better than the first time round will let you know wit some photos on the way back
