OK home but this time not with out its trials and tribs ,started out brill cruising out of town Wagga on a half tank of fuel it was going so good then reached Temora and thought may be not make it to West wylong so had to wait an hour for the country folk to wake up its ten to five at ten to 6 the station opens and we fill rather only a bit as the price in country NSW is killing me ....177 a litre .for 98 so i fill till i get to Parkes then addative and a full fill of 46 litres its going really well next stop Moree .wrong on leaving Parkes the Trucks have done some damage to the road with there tyres ruts like but there is also a ridge , my left front got in one and sucked me in, still on the road no danger that way buttttttttt the tarmac hit the sub fame and the Y piece of the exhaust not enought to do anything bar make a horrible scratching noise as the clamp bolt went into the soft Tarmac ,quick  once over  and  ok  OR SO I thought I didnt stop until a town a hundred ks north, lights were on red and I heard this phiffing noise from under the car , got out manifold cracked on 1 - 4 but not in the Y but on the tail were it comes out into the Y also the Y cracked inbetween the Y of the pipes looking back it has it the prop centre steady bar so on we go and kept it at 100 but every time i stopped it was worse and now i got a noise from tranny /drive train the good thing is it only used 1 litre of oil and im sure it came out of the cam carrier/head mating place left rear u know rear main is dry and a weep from behind the the dizzy . plug colour is a very darkish straw colour except number 1 which seems to be not colouring at all it has a slight build up but looks more lean than any other ,
so I go to take photos and there isnt a card in the camera I brought Mrs said oh I took it out before you left I had some birthday photos on it GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRr

Sorry Graham for not getting to you but after ur message had come through Id passed the Coonabarabin turn and In Narrabri,,The  port in june see you then if it isnt in bits still trying to work out how to get the photos of my phone on here but dont panic put them up soon

to be done ONE A/C unit to be fitted .
Laminated screen to be fitted not so good on a toughened one over here lol but it survived
So for aq nearly 40 year old car to do the journey and even with all that the engine did not miss one beat oh heart stopping moment in cafe didnt want to start on the key 2 nd timeit did checked starter wire Loose OK now though .
driving that was a hell of an experience especially in the hatch but to do it again down the Newell nah its like being on a forest stage for the whole time its the quick way but boy does it take its toll out of both driver and car and the only thing you see is road road and more road oh there is a truck bye and thats it I went for 2 hrs not seeing another thing except a joey (ROO/Wallaby) who nearly dented the front .
so now to pull the box out and find out whats making the rattle sound on the input shaft ,fix the manifold and the diff then see were it goes from there

Next one is PERTH WA with a total of 49 hr driving time only one way and a milage of 4740 ks one way now thats an epic any one wanna come have drive lol
