The cage looks very well a big improvement over the normal SD cage. The cage in Nail follows the front pillar like that but then it has no dash panel to get in the way.

The GRP dash cowl panels really are a great job. I bought one off you for the driver's side a couple of years ago as it was in my wanted list when I started my build. I had tried to buy one from Blydenstien in '79 and was told they were no longer available.
Thanks, I think these cowls are a good way of covering up a sun damaged dash top, it's very rare these days to find one that is in good condition, and the cost of making a full width GRP dash top with all the mounting studs and brackets for all the standard dashes and glove boxes, is too much, and most people want a direct replacement rather than a blank that needs to be modified and adapted to fit.

It doesn't really matter in a rally car, but if you take some time to get the fit right and bond them on well, they almost look as if they were original fitments and have the added bonus of keeping the sun of the instruments in summer.
