Thanks a lot lads.

It was bit stressful this weekend with it being Stuart and Jack's first event in the new car and a selection of teething problems to iron out but they enjoyed themselves and the Chevette and crew looks very promising indeed. Stuart did well but Jack's a bloody hero - first time on notes and on Epynt, too! Big respect.

Jim played himself in carefully as usual and lost a fair bit of time on the first three stages because they were on the soft Kumho's on the front. He then clipped a tennis ball sized rock in the road which punctured a front tyre and they had to drive to the end of the thankfully short stage before they could change it. By the end of the event they were beating Orr and Tysoe which we were delighted with as this was the first event on the revised suspension on tarmac and at full chat using notes.

Full chat on the current gearing on 185/70 x 13's and hitting the rev limiter in top on several occasions equals 133.44 mph.

Approaching 71 with a 66 year old co-driver and on Epynt - Pauline hasn't done a full event at Epynt since around 1973 and Jim's last visit there was on a Wales Rally GB a good few years ago :-O
