Bodyshell:
Front Suspension and Steering: Strengthened cross member solid mounted to shell, Ventora uprights and lower ball joints, Ventora hubs, rose jointed adjustable camber and castor, coilover adjustable dampers, modified roll centre, 2.7 turn quick rack with universal.
Rear Suspension: Strengthened 4.3 axle with ZF LSD, diff skid plate, coilover adjustable dampers, fully rose jointed.
Brakes: Discs all round, vented front with 4 pots, 2 pots rear, aeroquip hoses, bias bar pedal box with cockpit adjuster, hydraulic handbrake.
Engine: 2.1 Pinto, Arias pistons, steel rods, twin scavenge dry sump system, 4:1 custom exhaust and system, Dave Bishop big valve head, bronze guides, Iskendarian springs, titanium caps, cross-drilled Kent RC1 cam, vernier pulley, 45DCOEs with cold air feed, 160BHP at wheels at 6500RPM. Engine has only done 1 rally and 1 hillclimb since being built.
Transmission: Straight cut close ratio gearbox with quickshift lever, alloy bellhousing, competition clutch (hydraulic actuation), one-piece prop.
Wheels and
Tyres: 8x13 Superlights with nearly new 215/50 road-legal soft compound intermediates (plus unused spare). Also included are five 6x13 Alleycats, four
part-worn very soft compound wets and four 5.5x13 eight spoke steels.
I have owned the car for 25 years and it has always been kept in a dry garage. It could easily be changed to meet MSA historic spec if desired. For more
